Bringing Families Together (BFT) was created in 1999 with the goal of providing quality social services to children and families. Since that time, Bringing Families Together has entered into several contractual agreements with the State of Missouri and other private agencies to provide services to children and families on behalf of Missouri Department of Social Services- Children’s Division. Bringing Families Together began their work with foster care case management and resource family development. The agency has expanded to include private adoption services, counseling, and recruitment/training of foster homes specifically for teenagers.
